The Pendragons are Great Britain's premier heroes, forged from the remnants of a prior group called the Knights of Pendragons. The KoP disbanded over a year prior to the events now known as the Avalon War, in which Mordred allied himself with Proctor and the Parliament of Darkness to destroy the Lady of the Lake. These demonic forces targeted the former members of the Knights of Pendragon, who had once been assigned to defend Avalon. Breeze and team ally Dai Thomas were killed during these events, Gawain was badly injured and Grace went missing. The Black Knight and his companion Sersi brought together the remaining Knights of Pendragon and a Golden Age heroine named Spitfire. These heroes repelled the invasion of Avalon with the aid of an enigmatic mystic known as Wynter. The group elected to remain together and the Black Knight recommended that they call themselves the Pendragons in honor of the previous group. Technically, the Pendragons are a wholly separate organization from the Knights of Pendragon, sharing only a similar name and purpose. Amongst the general populace, however, the distinction is rarely made and the group is often referred to by the old moniker.
After the so-called Collision Event, history was altered so that various groups of Pendragons were active throughout history. In World War II, one group of Pendragons operated from a secret base located behind the face of Big Ben. This group consisted of: Spitfire, Union Jack (Brian Falsworth), the Fin (Peter Noble), the British Bulldog and Albion.
A spinoff version of the group (Pendragons Paris) was formed in issue 84. This group consists of Ghost Rider, Iron Man UK, Peregrine and Sibilla. Of the four, only Ghost Rider and Iron Man are true Pendragons in the sense that they've received the blessings of Avalon.
What follows is a listing of all members since the group's formation (in Black Knight: Destiny Walk # 6) to present. The format is: Heroic Identity, Current Status and Joined information.
