Tom Deja was the creator of the Miracles, Inc. concept, drawing upon his love of the various characters who appeared in Warrior magazine. Unfortunately, real life prevented him from completing his planned storyline. Issues 1 & 2 are posted below, along with plot summaries for 3-6. Some elements of the plot summaries came from Barry Reese, extrapolating from Tom's notes. Travis Hiltz takes over as writer with issue seven.

They are flights of fancy given human form. They are the legends and heroes who haunt the subconscious... they are living Miracles.

Miracleman - Young Michael "Micky" Moran had the ability to turn into a God just by uttering the word 'Kimota.' Super-strong, durable, charismatic, able to fly through the air and survive just about anything, Miracleman defended England throughout the 50's and 60's before being entombed by the evil Dr. Gaurganza. Released during the Black Mass crisis, Micky served as a Pendragon for some time until learning that he was too good to be true--literally; he was a comic book character brought to life by the reality-warping powers of Jamie Braddock.

Big Ben - He's the Superhuman Spy, the Man With No Time For Crime. Bedecked in a modified black three piece suit, bowler, umbrella and domino mask as only a dedicated follower of fashion could be, Big Ben believes himself to be a spy working for the enigmatic 'MI 5 ½' during the swinging 60's. This fact causes Inland Revenue clerk Patrick Steed no end of consternation. Patrick has been taking illegally obtained anti-psychotics to suppress Ben's memories, but the call to fight for God and Country are too great…

Firedrake - Firedrake is able to control the fire around him. He can't will himself on fire, nor create fire whole except by conventional means but, like Pyro, he can manipulating any existing fire source in a specific area. His prison is one Nigel Smalls, a down on his luck street busker who is haunting the Underground.

Laser Eraser - Mystralis is brought forth from her prison, shop assistant Marie Foulcar, by Michael Moran, and decides she's never going back inside. A born warrior capable of using any weapon with pure instinct, Mystralis ends up siding with Miracleman when he confronts his older self, rounding out the team.

Miraclewoman - Miracleman's distaff counterpart, with all the powers of her male counterpart. She's presently locked in the mind of Winter Moran (pictured at left), the wife of the adult Michael Moran (a.k.a. Dark Miracleman), an artist and political activist. She finds herself attracted to Miracleman in both his forms.

Warpsmith - The alien ally of Miracleman and his crew, the Warpsmith is a mechanical savant capable of building tremendous inventions out of seemingly nothing. His biggest invention, however, is the Warpsmith suit, a uniform capable of opening up Warps of varying size that can transport people and things incredible distances. He's presently locked in the mind of Evelyn Crème, an overweight solicitor from Brixton.
