Powers: The Knights of Pendragon each possess the Champion Spirit of Pendragon – they have heightened abilities, powers and senses which become exaggerated to super-human levels. They are able to tap into the power of the Earth itself, which manifests as a lightning-like energy. Albion was able to transform himself from elderly Peter Hunter to the younger and more powerful form of Albion. In this form, Albion was able to project and control a mystic flame.

History:  

Peter Hunter became a champion of the Green Knight during the first World War. His presence on the battlefields proved to be a morale boost for British troops and he spent much of the 20th Century alternating between his personal life and a heroic career as Albion. Though never particularly famous outside of Great Britain, Albion was very respected in his home country.

Eventually, Peter settled down to a life at the Gatton Academy, a posh boys school. As he grew older, his powers faded to the point where he could no longer summon his Albion form. It wasn't until Cam McClellan's corruption by the Bane that Albion returned to action. He knew that Cam's problems came from the fact that he had accepted into his body a Pendragon spirit -- but that he was not yet ready for the responsibility. Cam gave up the spirit, which revitalized Peter's own powers. Once more rejuvenated, Albion became the de facto leader of the Knights of Pendragon and became romantically involved with his onetime enemy and later teammate, Grace.

When Mordred launched an assault on Avalon, Peter aided the Black Knight in forming a new group of Pendragons to oppose him. He then served as leader of the Pendragons until he died in battle with Blackheart during the so-called Black Mass. His death devastated the Pendragons, though he later appeared to Cam, offering him the power that was rightfully his. Cam accepted and served as a new Albion for a time.
