Barry Reese is a freelance writer whose credits include: the Rook series, The All-New Official Handbook of the Marvel Universe A-Z, D6 Space: The Fires of Amatsumara and Marvel Encyclopedia v. 5: The Marvel Knights. He has a Master's Degree in Library and Information Science and works as a professional Librarian in Georgia. He is married to artist Cari Reese and together they have a son named Julian!

Barry has completed work on The Rook Volume Five and you can expect it from Wild Cat Books in the fall of this year. If you can't wait until then, check out How The West Was Weird from Pulpwork Press. There's a brand-new, never-before-published Rook story included! Barry has also begun work on a brand new novel, a noir piece of horror set in 1939 Atlanta.
The Crossroads Writers Conference was a blast and Barry plans to be back again next year!

Barry will be at Kema's Hobby in Gray, Georgia on Feb. 20 at noon to sign copies of Rabbit Heart. He'll also be a guest at the Crossroads Writers Conference in Macon, Georgia on Feb. 27. He'll be appearing on three panels that day and will be discussing pulp fiction, breaking into the professional ranks and more.

Barry wants to wish everyone a very Happy New Year. Work is progressing on The Rook Volume Five and his horror novel Rabbit Heart will be out soon -- Wild Cat Books plans for it to be their first release of 2010. Also, Barry has done edits on his Green Hornet story for Moonstone Books. Look for the first volume of The Green Hornet Chronicles soon!

Barry wants to wish everyone a Happy Halloween! Sales on The Rook Volume Four remain brisk and the entire series is continuing to garner more and more attention. On other fronts, Barry has just turned in the manuscript for a novel entitled Rabbit Heart. This pulp-influenced slasher/horror novel will be published by Wild Cat Books in 2010!
