Lots of Wild Cat News (posted January 22, 2008)
Volume one of the Rook is now available at Fictionwise for e-book users and the printed version is on its way. Keep an eye out for The Bleeding Hells, a standalone volume that will pair the Rook with public domain pulp characters The Black Bat, Ascott Keane and Doctor Satan. Also, Startling Stories # 5 will contain "The Great Work," a short story that originally appeared in Thrilling Adventures. "The Great Work" is set in the Rook Universe, though it does not feature Max Davies. Certain characters in "The Great Work" do pop up in the forthcoming The Rook Volume Two, however. Finally, the cover artwork for volume two is here! Look for a preview to be posted in the next day or so -- but Frank Brunner's done an amazing job on it!
